. July 2016. Submission selected for National NZ Society of Potters Annual Exhibition in Havelock North. Hawkes Bay.

Took part in "Christmas Exhibition" in the "Quay Gallery", Ahuriri, Napier.


. Staged Solo Exhibition entitled "Walk On the Wild Side" at the "Inspirit Gallery" Tamahere, Hamilton. Exhibition on show from Oct 12 to Nov 12.

. Accepted an invitation to exhibit work in the Galleria "Il Collezionista", based in the Historic Centre of Rome, Italy. Participating in the first section - March 22nd to April 3rd, of this European traveling Exhibition.
. An approach for inclusion in the online 'Mecenavie Gallery', New York.
. Invitation to participate in Il Premio Combat 2014 Exhibition / Award, Livorno, Italy.
. An approach from an International art magazine publication in the UK.
. A invitation to participate in the 'Monreale Museum of Modern & Contemporary Art' exhibition / award, in Sicily.

. Article published in 'Cambridge Edition' on 26th February 2014. Titled: ' Artist Meets International Demand ' by Viv Posselt.

. Article 'A House Made for a Princess', by Viv Posselt. Published in the 'Cambridge Edition' on 9th April, and off-shoot in 'The Waikato Times'


. Work chosen for world wide publication in the 'International Contemporary Masters' Volume VII, USA.
. Selected for pubication in the European edition of 'International Contemporary Artists' Vol VII.

. Participated in the Southern Nevada Las Vegas Exhibition,in September 2013.
. Inclusion in the Leipzig, Germany 2013 Palm Art Award.
. Recieved request from 'Il Collezionista', Gallery, Rome, Italy to exhibit work.
. Participated in the 'Quay Gallery' Ahuriri, Napier, December 'Christmas Exhibition'.


. Took part in "Cambridge Dynamic Ceramic Expo", staged in the Cambridge Town Hall in August. NB. Emergency spinal surgery, executed in early February 2012, had slowed artist down.

. Selected to take part in the online international "Palm Art Award 2012" in Liepzig Germany,from October 31st to December 29th.


Staged "Changing Seasons" exhibition in the Quay Gallery in Napier. Editorial and photo featured in Hawkes Bay Today Art Section on August 10th.


1981: Commenced work as a professional potter,specialising in slab-built replicas of historic New Zealand houses, and supplied several galleries and shops throughout the North Island. Two examples: "Earthworks", Wellington, and "Gallery Vertu",Napier.
1982:
Recipient of National Ceramic Award ,sponsored by'Talisman', at the 'Ceramics 82 Symposium' held in Auckland.
1983:
Developed an export market for work in Hawaii. Recieved media coverage in the "Wellington Dominion" news paper and "Hawkes Bay Herald Tribune" news paper.
Also featured on two of Television New Zealand's current affairs programs, "Video Dispatch" and "Top Half"

That same year a pottery piece was presented to Princess Diana at Government House by the Governor General, Sir David Beattie, during the 1983 Royal Tour of Charles and Diana. A much appreciated thank you note arrived soon after, from Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales.

Asked to do a 'Review' on a visiting Australian Ceramic Exhibition , on show at the Hastings Cultural Centre, published in the "Hawkes Bay Herald Tribune."

Appointed secretary for the Hawkes Bay Potters Association.
Held a joint exhibiton with textile artist, Monika Schaer Vance, at "Gallery 242" in Hastings, opened by Hastings Member of Parliament, Mr David Butcher.
Staged a 2nd exhibition later that same year with water colour artist, Nicki Waters at "Gallery Vertu", in Napier. With an article covering the exhibition in the "Hawkes Bay Herald Tribune" .
Relocated to Auckland with husband and family. Continued ceramic art work whilst taking up a position with the Bank of New Zealand.
Commissioned to do three pieces for the managerial offices in the BNZ Tower, Queen Street.
Invited to stage a solo exhibition at "Garlands", Remuera. Recieved media coverage in two local newspapers: "Eastern and Bays Courier" and "Pakuranga Times"

Appeared on the Family Television Network's "About the House" which later re-ran on Sky Television's Living Channel.

Diagnosed with a brain tumour in July 1996 and under went extensive brain surgery, followed by radio therapy. After two long years in recovery, painting professionally.

Owned and operated the "Crafty Cottage Gallery" in Eastern Beach, Howick. staged an opening exhibition at the gallery opened by eminent Neurosurgeon, Mr Edward Mee. A "Pakuranga Times" article covered the exhibition.

Later in that same year staged an exhibition entitled "Reflections"in the "Howick Historical Village" A front page article followed in "Howick's Eastern Courier".

March 12th, staged first ever charity exhibition in the Auckland Hospital Oncology Department, entitled: "To Help the Healing". Recieved extensive media coverage:
"New Zealand Herald", March 13th,
"New Zealand Womans Weekly",
"East and Bays Courier",
"Alice Shopland Column", in the "New Zealand House and Garden Magazine."

Published in the Readers Digest, August 2001, with a feature based on the discovery and amazing recovery from an envasive brain tumour, entitled: "Thank you Mr Eiffel". The story was voted first equal in a poll conducted on 30,000 subscribers.

Recieved a commission to paint a large 9 metre wide fresco based on Greek and Roman Mythology entitled : The Meeting of Bacchus and Ariadne" for the owners of the'Ascension Vineyard", Matakana.The unveiling of the freso and concurrent exhibition, "Dreams in The Making" took place on March 23rd. Local entity, Sir William Birch, opened the exhibition. TV3 News covered the unveiling of the frescco and exhibition opening, with item going to air on the 30th March.

A New Idea Magazine article titled, "Never Give Up" followed on May 25th. Written by journalist, Kimberley Paterson, the two page feature was published in May 25th edition.

Relocated with her husband to Matakana, and continued to paint. Advised on the setting up of local artists exhibition held at the Equestrian Centre.
Moved to Cambridge on a transfer envolving her husbands work. Continued to recieve painting commissions for private collections.

Returned to working with clay and tutored pottery classes at Cambridge Middle School,and Whitehall School. An article featuring in the Cambridge Edition, May 14th,titled "Pottering joy for students" resulted. Also tutored art with stroke victims at Cambridge's Life Care, but couldn't continue this work after suffering a severe spinal injury.

Ran a ceramic course at the Stewart Centre in Hamilton, for brain injured people.
New wine series paintings work on show at the 'Quay Gallery' Ahuriri, Napier, 'Studio 73', the artists's working gallery in Cambridge opened in November 2009.
Appointed Secretary for the Waikato Society of Potters, June 2010.
